Project to reduce the risk of addictions in young people, through the development of life skills, acquisition of knowledge and reduction of psychosocial barriers as protective factors. Using a strategy of training agents of change.
Project objectives
Develop life skills, modify attitudes and provide alternatives for healthy behaviors, as protective factors against the use and abuse of substances in young people, teachers, and parents.
Strengthen young people's intrinsic empowerment and change social norms towards substance use.
Form youth change agents in an area of the country experiencing high levels of violence and delinquency, school drop-out and teen pregnancy as well as low-income and few employment opportunities.
Strengthen the family and school environment to provide alternatives for a healthy life plan at the individual and family level.
Reduce the frequency of use in young people who already use addictive substances.

reduction in alcohol consumption reported by youth over the course of the program
