Develop, implement, evaluate and disseminate a pilot HIV/AIDS prevention program for young men in rural regions, offering a model that could be implemented in other parts of Mexico and Latin America.
Project objectives
Conduct diagnostic research with young people for the development of program content on HIV / AIDS prevention, sexual education and life skills.
Train and evaluate community promoters on sexual health and HIV / AIDS prevention, so that they can in turn train other promoters to replicate the workshops with young men and their partners and future partners.
Provide young people with the knowledge and skills they need to communicate learned information to at least two classmates.
Evaluate changes in knowledge, attitudes and behavior of participating adolescents, through the application of a baseline and a post questionnaire.
