Mexican youth: leaders stopping COVID-19 in crowded and marginalized Iztapalapa
English
In Iztapalapa, the dense Mexico City borough of 1.8 million inhabitants that is #1 for COVID-19 cases in Mexico, people are not sheltering in place and many lack water to wash their hands. The situation is so dire that Iztapalapa alone has more cases than 118 countries including Costa Rica, Cuba and Hungary. We need your help to stop COVID-19 transmission here. With your donation, we are remotely training youth to become leaders for prevention with their families and networks, running a digital educational campaign. and installing portable handwashing stations for those who have to go out to work and don´t have running water at home to wash their hands. Together, with these actions, we are enabling 800,000 people to stay safe from COVID-19. Will you make this possible today?
