I want to, I can … improve quality of care
English
Addressing the challenges faced by health personnel to improve quality of care in the midst of high demand for services and the realities of working in marginalized communities with limited resources
Description
We have carried out studies that identify alternatives for improving the quality of care in health services. The result is this training model that encourages empathy, open and clear communication and doctor and patient rights. Results include improvements in the physician-patient relationship, increased confidence, greater therapeutic adherence and job satisfaction of medical personnel. The program is applicable to both traditional and institutional medicine and promotes job satisfaction and the rediscovery of motivation to provide care.
