I want to, I can … prevent addictions

Provide 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students with knowledge and skills to prevent drug use, through the training of teachers and parents in the states of Hidalgo and Puebla.

Project objectives

Develop in students life skills that enable them to handle risky situations as well as strengthen protective factors to prevent antisocial behavior such as the use and abuse of legal and illegal drugs.

Develop content for primary school children.

Train teachers to replicate the program in the classroom during the school year, providing support during the replication phase and evaluating training impact.

Integrate in parents, training them in the "Learning to be mom and dad" program to strengthen their own abilities and facilitate the development of protective factors in their children.

Carry out a process evaluation, using the results to improve the program.
