I want to, I can … comprehensive life skills program

To contribute to the social and economic wellbeing of the region by ensuring the timely receipt of grants awarded by the Peñasquito mining company, and strengthening the development of life skills in relation to study habits, career and personal improvement.

Project objectives

Formalize and carry out the process of awarding scholarships through an open application process offered by the Peñasquito mining company to provide educational support in the region.

Implement training activities on a monthly basis with scholarship recipients, at the primary, middle, high school and professional levels.

Develop monthly awareness-raising and training activities with parents around supporting their children's education.

Design specific activities, such as an essay or drawing contest, to qualify new individuals to receive scholarships.

Perform a quantitative and qualitative evaluation with annual cut-offs to understand program effects, identify needs and make adjustments as required.
