Promote gender equality and protect human rights in the mountains of Guerrero, based on a proven model to end forced child marriage and sale of women in these communities.
Project objectives
Kids empowerment: Workshops in the elementary and secondary school of each community.
Community empowerment: Community assemblies; conferences to raise awareness at the community level.
Changes in the legal framework: Signing of community commitments, formally changing local customs, in each community to stop selling women and girls and no longer permit child marriage.
