I want to, I can … prevent unplanned pregnancies

Designed for the prevention of both teenage pregnancy and dating violence. Participants develop life skills, acquire knowledge and reduce psychosocial barriers in order to strengthen protective factors.

Project objectives

Improve the development of life skills, especially those associated with risk prevention in adolescence: self-knowledge, critical thinking, assertive communication, negotiation, expression of emotions and planning.

Promote in young people the knowledge to live their sexuality in a healthy and responsible way, prevent unplanned pregnancies and promote gender equity.

Improve attitudes towards sexual health, reduce psychosocial barriers and develop a life plan.

Develop and maintain safe sex behaviors through the development of skills such as assertive communion, decision making, expression of emotions and planning, goal setting, as well as compliance with specific safe sex practices.

Improve self-confidence and intrinsic empowerment so that young people become agents of change and share learning with their peers.
