I want to, I can … detect and prevent dating violence

The project promotes the development of life skills and the application of knowledge that reduce psychosocial risks in teens, ultimately reducing obstacles that may interfere with teens' life plans for employment and productivity.

Project objectives

Facilitate the development of teens' life skills so that they take responsibility for their sexuality, thus preventing unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections that may interfere with their personal development.

Promote attitudes towards sexual health and dating violence prevention, supporting norms related to gender equality and responsibility within relationships.

Strengthen the development of life skills aimed at building a healthy life plan.

Build protective factors and specific safe-sex behaviors associated with open and clear communication with partners and birth control and condom use in the context of planning a healthy and productive life plan.

Build intrinsic empowerment so that youth may become agents of change who positively influence other youth.
