WORK WITH US AS VOLUNTEER OR INTERN
We welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds
How can you help?
As a volunteer you can help us in a variety of ways. We are particularly interested in volunteers with strong fundraising skills, strong writing including English-Spanish-English translation, graphic designers, professional filmmakers and photographers, journalists and editors. We need specialists in developing business plans for young, underprivileged entrepreneurs. In some cases, we need volunteers to prepare and serve food to our workshop participants in both rural and urban parts of Mexico.
Internships are available in the areas of resource development and proposals, administration, communication and marketing, fundraising, entrepreneurship, research, academic articles and executive support. For people with specific experience, there are also opportunities in the areas of evaluation and training material development.
Requirements:
- A minimum commitment of 10 weeks is required, except in cases of food preparation for our workshops. We give preference to individuals who can work with us for a semester or a year
- In very limited cases, we can provide small stipends to highly qualified volunteers willing to commit to long-term placements.
