Promote the empowerment of women who have suffered violence in the state of Hidalgo, through the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive program that trains these women in both life skills and entrepreneurial skills.

Project objectives

Develop personal capabilities and empowerment in 150 women users of the Hidalgo Women’s Justice Center (CJHM, for its Spanish acronym) to identify and prevent gender violence, and ensure their sexual and reproductive health.

Provide these women with the personal and technical tools both for improving their financial security and personal confidence and for creating, strengthening and monitoring their community banks and small businesses.

Raise the awareness of 163 CJHM staff members to improve the quality of services they provide, covering topics such as: observance of women's rights and human rights, gender equality, and violence-free practices.
